Junior Engineer (Electrical) CPWD	Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute
Junior Engineer (Civil), Department of Posts	Three years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government
Junior Engineer (Civil), MES	Degree in Civil Engineering OR (I)Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering and (II) Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.
Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), MES	Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR (I) Three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and (II) Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.
Junior Engineer (QS&C), MES	(i) 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognised institute / University / Board or equivalent OR (ii) Passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional-II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

Fee Details:

Fee payable Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
No Fee required for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen

Pay Scale:

Junior Engineers, Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts in the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (pre-revised).

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the

Final SSC JE Exam Schedule:

The Exam of JEs (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, QS & Contract) 2016 will be conducted in two sessions from 1st March to 4th March 2017. The first session will start from 10 AM to 12 AM and reporting time is 8.30 AM to 9.30 AM. The 2nd session will start from 2:45 PM to 4:45PM and reporting is 1.15 PM to 2.15 PM
