The SSC Stenographer Recruitment for Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ for the year 2017 is out now. The last date to apply for this post is 15th July 2017 upto 5 PM. The examination will be Computer Based. The examinations will be conducted from 4th September 2017 to 7th September 2017.

Age-Criteria:

As on 1st August 2017

Min Age – 18 years

Max Age – 27 years

Eligibilty:

You must have passed the Class 12 from a recognized Board or University.

Selection Process:

 Recruitment will be completed in 2 process:

Computer Based Test will have 3 sections – Reasoning, English and GA.

The total marks will be 200 and total time will be 2 hours. 

1. You will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi.
2. The speed will be 100 w.p.m for Grade C Stenographer and the speed for Grade D Stenographer will be 80 w.p.m.
3. You will have to transcribe the dictation on a computer in a given amount of time.The transcription time will be:
   Grade C – 50 min (English), 65 min (Hindi)
   Grade D – 40 min (English), 55 min (Hindi)
