The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the recruitment application process for the Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department Examination, 2017 on its official website ssconline.nic.in

Age-Criteria:

The candidates must be 30 years or below as on August 4th 2017 however the age relaxation under various Reserved Categories will apply.

Eligibilty:

The candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject) / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent with minimum 60% Marks or 6.75 CGPA.

Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Pay Band2(Rs.9300-34800) plus Grade Pay Rs.4200 in pre-revised scale)

Selection Process:

On the merit of Computer Based Test in Part- I & Part II

The examination would comprise 200 questions carrying 200 marks for two hours duration. The question paper would have two parts, Part - I & Part - II.
